Equipment hire & useful tips
There are numerous rental shops around the village, so shop around to make sure you are paying the going rate for gear.
It can be daunting looking at a list of items that you need to buy for your skiing/snowboarding holiday. If you are going skiing for the first time, then the list can be a long one.
Skis/Snowboards (Including bindings)
Obviously an essential piece of equipment!
If it is your first ski /snowboard holiday, then it is best to rent your skis or snowboard in resort from a reputable ski hire shop.
Backpack
Useful for carrying spare clothes, food and drinks. Essential if you are skiing off piste to carry your safety equipment – shovel, probe and first aid kit.
