Resort info (winter)
Every season is different, however you can have great conditions both at the beginning and end of the season.
You may have already heard that Les Deux Alpes has a world-class snowpark. In fact, it has two – a winter snowpark located in the La Toura area, served by two chairlifts and a button lift, and a summer snowpark on the glacier, served by three T-bars.
This is a very important question, especially in Les Deux Alpes, as it can make or break your first day’s skiing.
Without writing a text book, if you read the following you should be fine on your first day!
The Deux Alpes Glacier (Glacier de Mantel) offers high altitude skiing both summer and winter. The glaciated terrain runs from the bottom of the Signal Chairlift at 2815m to the top of the Dome de la Lauze at 3560m.
